Course Information

"Rueda de Casino - the origin of the dance"...

In your head, imagine partnerwork salsa with the camaraderie and the community element of a ceilidh. Put them together hat's something along the lines of what Rueda de Casino is.

Rueda de Casino is a group dance. Rueda means "wheel" in Spanish and you literally dance in a circle together with fast changes, intricate moves and teamwork to pull off an awesome performance

For existing Cuban Salseros/as this is a great way to enhance your dancing. Your timing will improve, your natural musicality and flair will since through as you work together with your peers to make an amazing group dance to watch together.

£10 per month (Taken on a subscription basis)

Turn up on the first night, pay your £10 there for your first month

Experience needed?

Some level of Cuban Salsa experience.
For existing Buddie Salsa students, we require you to have completed Beginners and understand the core five moves of Improvers.

For outside dancers, we require you to understand beginner concepts and be able to perform setenta, sombrero and coca-cola to an acceptable level at minimum.

What to wear.

Comfortable footwear. Lightweight clothes as you will work hard!

Do we accept walk-ins.

Yes but contact us first

We run rueda in a group basis with a maximum capacity of 16 people per group. (8 leaders and 8 followers). Each group has its own 16 people.

So if we have a vacancy in a group, you can take it. :)

Regular services run between Paisley to Glasgow Central, Paisley to Greenock/Gourock/Wemyss Bay and Paisley to Ayrshire. Station you need is Paisley Gilmour Street.

Exit the station at County Square side. Walk straight bearing left until you pass the war memorial. Keep walking down straight until you pass Farmfoods.

Kennedys Bar is to the left hand side before you turn into Orchard Street (entrance is scaffolded up at the moment.

Regular services run to Paisley Cross from all corners of Paisley and southbound towards Glasgow.

Street Parking is free after 6pm on Orchard Street. Free car park is at the end of Orchard Street too.

Can also park on Causeyside Street but is prone to getting busy.
